Meet the 2013-2014 Student Ambassadors!

Wake Tech is proud to announce that we have selected 15 Student Ambassadors to serve during the 201-2014 academic year.  Our new ambassadors are a diverse group of Wake Tech’s most outstanding students.

Camilla Bethel

Camilla Bethel

Camilla graduated from Enloe High School and is currently pursuing a Radiology degree at Wake Tech. Camilla takes classes and serves as a Student Ambassador at the Health Sciences Campus.

Elizabeth Alexander

Elizabeth is a pre-nursing student.  She is currently taking classes on Main Campus, and hopes to enroll in the nursing program at WTCC in January.

Amy EvansAmy Evans

Amy graduated from Sanderson High School. She is currently enrolled in Wake Tech’s Radiography program.

Tywon is enrolled in Wake Tech’s Associate in Arts program. He takes classes and serves as a Student Ambassador at the Main Campus. Tywon is also actively involved with the Raleigh Fellows program.

My name is Dana Elthertani.  I am the Stephen C. Scott Scholar!  I am pursuing an Associate’s degree in Science at Wake Tech and plan to transfer to UNC to pursue an undergraduate degree in Business.

Hallie graduated from Franklin Academy. She is currently pursuing an Associate in Arts degree at Wake Tech. Hallie takes classes and serves as a Student Ambassador at the Northern Wake Campus.

Aaron Sutton

Aaron is currently in Business Administration. He just received his Associates in Criminal Justice in August from Wake Tech and plans to transfer to UNC Chapel Hill or Central University next year.

Brooke Roberson

Brooke is a graduate of Wake Forest Rolesville High School. She is currently pursuing a Nursing degree at Wake Tech. Brooke takes classes and serves as a Student Ambassador at the Health Sciences Campus.

Cara Taylor

Cara is a second year Student Ambassador.  She is preparing to graduate in spring and transfer to NC State in the fall. Cara is planning to receive a BS degree in History, minor in Anthropology, and eventually obtain a Masters degree in Museum Studies. Her dream is to become a Museum Curator.

Donna is pursuing a degree in Medical Office Administration at Wake Tech. She takes classes and serves as a Student Ambassador at the Main Campus.

Linval is a native of Jamaica, enrolled at Wake Tech’s North Campus and is pursuing an Associate of Arts degree. His positive work attitude, resilience and focus enables him to excel in his academic pursuits. He embodies the warmth and flair of the Caribbean while serving as a Student Ambassador at the Main Campus.

Fatima is enrolled in Wake Tech’s Associate in Arts Program.  She takes classes and serves as a Student Ambassador at the Main Campus.  Fatima is also actively involved with the National Society of Leadership and Success.

Cecil Wilson

Cecil graduated from Harnet Central High School in 2011. He has a passion for STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) education.  He is in his second year of the Associate in Science program and intends to transfer to NC State to pursue degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Construction Mechanics. He has a beautiful daughter who motivates him to give his best in every area of life.

Lekesha McClammy

Lekesha is a mother to two girls and one kitty. Currently, she is enrolled in the Medical Office Administration degree. Upon completion, she hopes to have a career as a Medical Specialist. She has been certified as a Nursing Assistant for 13 years.  In her spare time she likes to watch TV and sit outside and enjoy the breeze.
