Paperwork has been submitted to wake tech for approval to become an AIAS chapter. We hope to hear back in the next few weeks. AIA Triangle is hosting their annual residential tour on OCT 11. Our club should have a significant volunteer presence. Mr. Jefferson is Co-Chair of the planning committee and has made this opportunity available to us. Houses are located in Carrboro, Durham and Raleigh. There are 2 shifts, 830A-130P & 120P-630P. THERE WILL BE A VOLUNTEER MEETING 9.23 6-7P. (The Center for Architecture and Design. (14 East Peace Street, Raleigh, NC 27604). It will be a networking opportunity and a great time to learn about some local architecture.

We need volunteers for the planning committee for the fundraising event. These people will be in charge of making sure there are items to sell at the yardsale, setting up prices for tickets, figuring out what lunch will be provided, etc. So far on the committee is Trey, Mike J., and Katelynn.

HABITAT – Deconstruction is also part of what Habitat does. Matt will look into alternative days for those who can’t make a Saturday time slot. Oct. 11 is our next opportunity to participate in H4H, so what some people plan on doing is H4H in the morning, and AIAT in the afternoon. Please express interest to myself or another officer if you want to be involved and would like to car-pool.
