Current Dates of Interest

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen,
It has been brought to my attention that the calendar on our main page is still not working properly. Until I can fix this problem, I have added a monthly calendar where you can find dates of interest for the month of October through the link below.

I would like to call special attention to Tuesday, October 30th. This will be our next club meeting. Everyone is encouraged to attend, please remember your dues.

Current News

Below, you will find a link to our October newsletter. I would like to call special attention to two of our most current events.
Blood Drive On October 31st, the Criminal Justice Club will be supporting the Red Cross for a blood drive. Please note that although we encourage as many people as able to donate blood, we understand this is not always possible/desirable. There are, however, other ways to assist with this event, anyone interested is encouraged to contact any board member for more information.
Food Bank of Central and Eastern North CarolinaPresent-December 17th. The winter season is just around the corner, and as many of us begin to celebrate/revere certain events and holidays we consider and look for ways to help those who are down on their luck. Contributions of non perishable food items are being taken up for the North Carolina Food bank to serve this purpose. Please remember, however, that hunger comes more than once a year, and donations to this charity will be appreciated after the 17th as well.
Thanks for your time and attention. We look forward to all of our success as we contribute to making the communities we live in a better place.

Upcomming Events

We currently have two upcoming events and activities that I would like to call your attention to.

blood drive on October 31st.

-As mentioned in the last meeting, for various reasons, many individuals can’t (or prefer not to) donate blood.  It should be noted that there are other ways to help at this event, so if you are interested, but won’t donate, feel free to contact us for more information.

The 7th annual EMS: Fill the Ambulance Food Drive. The EMS drive is currently running and will end December 7, 2012. We are encouraging members to donate what you can, and as a reminder, all donations are to be non-perishable items only.

It should not be forgotten, that due to the prices of green beans, and some other canned vegetables, that they outweigh other items in donations, although appreciated none the less, other items are in greater demand.

A quick Update

I would like to call attention to the latest Criminal Justice Club Newsletter, in it you will find both detailed and quick notes on our missions, goals, and purpose, as well as some of our upcoming events.

Please note that as mentioned, not all activities found in the newsletter have confirmed dates, though they can be found here as soon as they are available.  We look forward to seeing you in our next meeting.
