International Friends Club Meeting

We had a great first meeting, at which Yusuf Mahmoud, SGA President, came and spoke with us about the SGA and how we can work together to make our club and our college even more fun and educational. We talked about culture, classes, advice, concerns, and planning for future events.
The next meeting looks to be even better! That will be on Thursday, September 1, 2016, from 12:30-1:30 on the Main Campus in TE building, room 110 (The EFL Lab).
The International Friends Club is open to ALL Wake Tech students. People think it is just for international students, but this idea is not correct at all! America is a country too, no? Then why can’t Americans be part of the IFC? They can be, they have been, and they are as needed as any other student!!
So please join us!
We have weekly meetings from 12:30 to 1:30 in TE 110 on Thursdays all semester.
We might have a pizza day or a pot luck day or even a dance party! Come on by and share your culture with the rest of the world. Learn, share, and enjoy!

Hello! Hola! Namaste! Marhaba! Jambo! Konnichiwa! Nî hâo! Chào bạn!

Hello there!!

Welcome to the official homepage for the International Friendship Club at Wake Technical Community College.

We are a club made and run by Wake Tech students, both born in the US and from around the world, and we get together on a regular basis to hang out, talk, get to know one another, teach each other about language and culture, go out to restaurants  and movies, take trips out to go bowling, skating, or whatever we can think up, and we generally try to have a great time together.

We are always looking for new members in the Wake Tech community, so please feel free to join up!
