On 1/10/2018, we will be holding elections for new officers for the current, and the next, school year! We are looking for:
- Vice President (Southern Wake Campus)
- Vice President (Health Sciences Campus)
If you’re interested in running for one of the above positions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a short bio and why you’d like to be an officer.
(Position information: The vice president facilitate events on that particular campus and to assist the president in the carrying out of her duties)
*Candidates of VP should run for a the position on the campus where they take the majority of their classes. Online students can also run for VP if they’re able to commute to the campus for meetings and events.*
Becoming an officer is a great way to get involved and network with like-minded people who are committed to academic excellence and serving their communities. By becoming a Phi Theta Kappa officer, not only will you get to collaborate on projects that help make a difference on campus and within the community, you also get to develop your leadership and communication skills by working on a team of creative and passionate student leaders. It will also demonstrate your abilities when applying for employment. Being an officer is a huge honor and distinction, and we encourage all members to consider running!
