As of now, we should all be well adjusted to the 2013 semester, and the criminal justice club is no exception. At this time we would like to request and remind you of the following:
-In an effort to accommodate as many club members as possible, Ms. Derricks is requesting that all members email her their new availability so that club meetings may be scheduled accordingly.
-We would also like to ask that members take time to refresh themselves on the club’s attendance policy, and take their time to pay their dues ($5) if they have not done so at this time.
We look forward to a strong and successful semester.
As of now, you should all be aware that there will be a meeting for anyone attending the trip to central prison on December Seventh. During this time Mr. Asfari will have the floor. As a reminder attendance is being recorded.
I have made a small error when listing out our board members, please note that we also have a recording secretary, Linda Derricks. I have added her name to the board list, and apologize for any confusion.
Ladies and Gentlemen, as of Monday, the Criminal Justice Club has officially partnered with the Wake Med Reach out and Read Program. This is in an attempt to promote litteracy among children as we strive to stay true to Wake Tech’s mission to promote lifelong learning. Our flyer for this initiative may be found at the link below, you may also find the official site for more information here.
We hope everyone is enjoying their break this week, and would like to take the time to remind you about next week’s meeting Tuesday 11am). Also please note that our club has started a new initiative and is partnering with Wake Med for a book drive through “Reach Out and Read, the attached flyer is available for those who wish to know more.
Please note that today’s 11AM meeting will be taking place in room 1108, NOT the conference room. (Room 1108 is right across the hall)
