At our last meeting, International Friends tried some international snacks!
International Day is Friday, November 22nd, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in Student Services Building. Do you want to perform? Do you want to decorate a table about a country? Can you help us serve food? Think about it and let me know.
Communication – Contact Loren if you are interested in joining the IFC GroupMe. This is a free app that lets you all chat with each other, share pictures, and see the club calendar of events all on your phone. To be added to our group, e-mail Loren (email@example.com) with your name and phone number, and you’ll get a text message with instructions.
Our next meeting will be Wednesday, December 4th, at 1:00 PM in SC 110 (EFL Lab). We will have free pizza and we will be working on creating goody bags to give to students during final exam week. (More info to come.)
Next semester, we want more students, more activities on campus and off, and more food. Our first meeting for the spring is tentatively scheduled for January 14th at 1:00 PM. We will also be electing new officers in the spring to serve for the remainder of the spring semester and for the Fall 2020 semester. Think about how you want to contribute to the club.
Thank you to everyone who came out for the first meeting! It was a great start. Future meetings will be held the second Thursdays of every month at 2:00 PM, and the fourth Wednesdays of every month at 1:00 PM in the EFL Lab (SC 110).
Bring your friends and come to as many meetings as you can. All dates for fall meetings are as follows:

End of semester party on December 5th or 6th — Let us know which date works better for you!
Welcome to the official homepage for the International Friendship Club at Wake Technical Community College.
We are a club made and run by Wake Tech students, both born in the US and from around the world, and we get together on a regular basis to hang out, talk, get to know one another, teach each other about language and culture, go out to restaurants and movies, take trips out to go bowling, skating, or whatever we can think up, and we generally try to have a great time together.
We are always looking for new members in the Wake Tech community, so please feel free to join up!
