What We Do & Who We Are
The purpose of the Wake Tech SVA is to provide a social and support group to help our student veterans adjust and be successful in their transition to civilian and college life.
Fun Fact: Wake Tech has more than 1,800 student veterans enrolled in classes for the 2019-20 academic year!
Some activities we offer include:
- Monthly Meet and Greets
- Social Gatherings & Outings
- Community Service
- Career Networking Opportunities
- Mentorship and Tutoring programs
- Veteran Study Groups
While we still use the name Wake Tech Veterans Club, we are now an official chapter of the nationally recognized Student Veterans of America (SVA). The Wake Tech SVA continues to grow and put fellow veterans in contact with people and resources they need to succeed.
